Self-Assessment & Review
Aim
The aim of this academic development module is to enable programme teams to develop effective ongoing self-assessment practices and to support the External Evaluation Review from NZQA.
This module brings together important information regarding updates on self-assessment from NZQA and introduces the new style Programme Self-Assessment Review (PSAR).
It is advisable to complete this module as a programme team. However, if your programme team is very small it would be beneficial to buddy up with other programmes, even if they are not in the same field or discipline area, so that robust and critical conversations can take place to inform a deep self-assessment process.
This module can be completed as a standalone online module or can be part of a facilitated face to face development workshop.
A special Programme folder has been created to be used alongside this module, in which all material and evidence pertaining to EER is to be kept. The link to the Programme EER folder will be supplied by Education Support Services, via email to the Programme Leader and HoD.
