Self-Assessment & Review

Evidence for self-assessment

Footprint

What you will need to have is good quality evidence to support your responses to these KEQ’s.

You will also need to show that you can, as a team, reflect on what the evidence means for a programme of study and how improvements have been or will be made.

This process forms the self-assessment aspect of the programme review.

We shall discuss the collation and review of evidence in more detail later in this module.

TEOs should think carefully about what data is relevant to them from sources such as the EPIs (for Student Achievement Component-funded organisations), and how they use it to understand and improve performance. TEOs will also be asked about other local data used to understand and improve achievement and outcomes.

The quote above mentions the responsibility of the TEO. In reality, this responsibility lies with each staff member: we are the TEO. This means, all of the six questions requires a response from the programme team.
