Engagement effectively with self-assessment and review is complex and as such the Education Support Services team have taken time to reflect on what we do, how we do it and how we can get better.

The result of this reflection has been:

  • Academic development modules to support understanding associated with the programme self-assessment and review (PSAR) process. 
  • New documentation to support greater reflection and self assessment. 
  • Guidance on how to analyse as well as collate evidence. 
  • Guidance on providing supporting commentary to make sense of the evidence 
  • Buddy/mentor systems in place with designated Education Support Services team members.
This academic development module will introduce you to these developments. To begin with, however, it’s important that self-assessment itself is understood.
