Graduates of this course will be able to role model respect for the tikanga of local whānau hapu and/or iwi and cultural groups while operating in a range of outdoor education contexts.
On successful completion of this course graduates will be able to:
1- Apply and evaluate tikanga and kawa of local whānau, hapū, and/or iwi in a range of outdoor education contexts within taiao.
2- Compare and contrast tikanga and kawa of local whānau, hapū, and/or iwi with protocols of another cultural group.
3- Integrate the principles of kaitiakitanga while operating in a range of outdoor contexts
