National Certificate in Adult Education and Training (L4 and 5)
During the transition to the new post TRoQ qualifications we are now offering the Level 4 National Certificate, and the Level 5 Certificate as well as various specific standards (like 4098 Assessment and 11551 Moderation).

We offer this qualification presented in four Modules, each starting with a workshop, with follow up sessions, work online, in small groups and assignments.
Each module will be in blended mode, through a mix of face to face workshops, online, VC and self directed applied activities. Course learning activities will include a wide variety of teaching methods including: workshops, discussions, group activities, simulations, lectures.
Course activities and assessments will contribute to the building of reflective practice.

What this means is a mix of print, video, face to face presentation.
You will also need a minimum level of time to juggle your regular teaching, course work, assignments and communication. If there are any problems for any of these, please let us know. You will need to know how to organise yourself.

This will include testing out strategies in your classroom, observation and planning exercises, some action research.
The amount of time required will include some weekly activities, online work, workplace based training and some reading.

This is a two-day workshop. This workshop will provide a basis of theory and concepts on which to build. It is designed to start from the beginning and help with getting oriented and confident as a tutor.
